On an as-needed basis, units are recharged with appropriate
chemicals, checked for leakage and placed back into
service.
6 Years Maintenance:
Every 6 years, the Fire Marshall requires chemicals
and miscellaneous parts to be changed to ensure proper
performance in case of fire.
12 Years
Maintenance:
Every 12 years, the Fire Marshall requires both the
above test and a pressure test of the cylinder to insure
its integrity.
